Paleo magazine is proud to partner with some of the top writers, bloggers and other experts in the paleo, primal, fitness and nutrition fields.  Here are some of the amazing contributors you’ll find in each issue.

 

Sean Croxton is the founder of the extremely popular Underground Wellness.  He started the Underground Wellness YouTube channel, which has grown to be the most subscribed Health and Wellness channel in the world, has recently launched Underground Wellness TV and hosts one of the most downloaded health radio shows on the internet, UW Radio.  He also works with clients all over the world, helping them uncover the root cause(s) of their health challenges.

David Csonka, a blogger and natural health enthusiast, runs the popular blog, Naturally Engineered.  David began his evolutionary health & fitness journey several years ago when he was introduced to CrossFit and the Paleo diet and it has radically transformed his life.  He now dedicates himself full-time to his blog and doing what he can to empower others to restore their lives to a vibrant and healthy state. 


Peggy Emch began studying Paleo nutrition and fitness in 2005.  After watching her own health transform, she brought the principles into her home and has since been working to define a modern parenting theory, rooted in the philosophy of our Paleolithic past.  In addition to being a parent, Peggy is also a teacher and philosopher, with degrees in mathematics and philosophy from the University of Colorado.  You can find her articles and insight on the popular parenting blog, ThePrimalParent.com.

Frank Forencich is an internationally recognized leader in health education and performance training.  He earned his B.A. at Stanford University in human biology and neuroscience and has over 30 years teaching experience in martial art, functional movement and health promotion.  Frank has traveled to Africa on several occasions to study human origins and is the author of Play as if Your Life Depends on It, Exuberant Animal and Change Your Body, Change the World.

Sarah Fragoso runs the extremely popular recipe and advice blog, EverdayPaleo.com and is the author of the book, Everyday Paleo, a guide for families and individuals interested in implementing and maintaining a Paleo lifestyle.  She is also a strength and conditioning coach for NorCal Strength and Conditioning and uses her expertise in the field of Paleo nutrition to help people around the globe obtain true health and wellness.

Jason Glaspey is co-owner of PaleoPlan.com, a site aimed at making Paleo a bit easier to follow.  He’s an avid cyclist, downhill mountain biker and snowboarder.  When not in front of a computer, Jason is most likely planning his next trip to Whistler.

 

Clifton Harski, a member of the MovNat Team, has been a personal trainer for the past five years, joining MovNat in 2010.  He holds his BS in Kinesiology from SDSU.  He currently holds certifications as an ACE personal trainer, CrossFit trainer and in RKC (Russian Kettlebell), and he’s working towards his certification in Functional Diagnostic Nutrition.

Lisa Herndon is the founder of Lisa’s Counter Culture, is passionate about “real food” and loves being able to share her recipes and techniques for creating nourishing and traditional food.  She is especially interested and skilled in fermentation and can go on for hours on all the crazy and fun things you can do with ferments while supporting your health and wellness. 

Jason Kremer, DC, CCSP, CSCS is a board-certified Chiropractic sports and family physician with a focus on Sports Medicine.  He received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Central Michigan University, his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Western State Chiropractic College in Portland, OR and in 2005 received his certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  In addition to CrossFit, he is a competitive natural bodybuilder.

Amy Kubal, MS, RD, LN is a Registered Dietitian and committed athlete.  Her goal is simple, to help individuals reach optimal performance through good nutrition.  In addition to maintaining her blog, FuelAsRX, she also works with The Whole9, Robb Wolf and The Training Bible Coaching.

Erwan Le Corre is the founder of MovNat, which is a synthesis of his long-term passion with natural movement, his extensive knowledge of Methode Naturelle and his philosophy of life.  He is currently working on a book (scheduled to be released in 2012), instructional DVDs, the opening of an indoor/outdoor facility to train people from around the world, as well as a MovNat certification.

Mike Peterson is a chef, who raises grass fed-to-finish beef and lamb, as well as pastured pork and soy-free eggs at a farm in Virginia.  Being a consumer and having worked in restaurants and the farm, he has a unique understanding of the growing connection between direct marketing farms and consumers.

 

Karen Phelps finds inspiration in all the ways ancestral nutrition and movement inform her life, in both obvious and subtle ways.  After watching her own health and well-being transform, she couldn’t keep it to herself and started blogging about it at PaleoPeriodical.com.

 

Colin Pistell is the owner and head trainer of Fifth Ape, a natural movement training program based in Chapel Hill, NC.  Colin currently holds certifications from the NSCA, FSM and CrossFit.  He was first exposed to the ideas of evolutionary fitness in 2002 as he sought ways to improve his MMA training – a journey that led him deep into the world of Parkour, barefoot running and anything else that piqued his interest.  He now devotes his career to helping others achieve true health and happiness through movement.

Bill Staley & Hayley Mason (Primal Palate) run the incredibly popular blog, The Food Lovers Primal Palate, and are authors of the beautiful cookbook, Make It Paleo.  For them, there is simply no substitute for clean, healthy, natural ingredients in cooking and this passion shows in their cooking.  Their site is known not only for its amazing primal recipes, but also for the absolutely stunning photos.

Diana Rodgers, NTP is the owner of Radiance Nutritional Therapy.  She lives with her husband and two children on an organic farm west of Boston where they raise vegetables and livestock.  Her nutrition practice focuses on helping people balance their blood sugar, lose weight and overcome digestive disorders through a holistic approach to the Paleo diet.  She’s an avid crossfitter, teaches cooking classes and conducts public workshops on nutrition.  You can find out more about her farm, and Diana, at RadianceNutrition.com.

Diane Sanfilippo runs the popular site, Balanced Bites and is a Holistic Nutritionist specializing in Paleo nutrition, blood sugar regulation, food allergies/intolerances and digestive health.  She holds a Bachelors degree from Syracuse University, a Holistic Nutrition Consultant Certification from Bauman College and a CHEK Institute Holistic Lifestyle Coach Certification.  She believes that the only way to truly change someones diet and lifestyle is to help them to create new habits.

Liz Wolfe is a board-certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner who advises individuals, groups and nonprofit organizations on good nutrition. She’s a Steve’s Club National Program Ambassador, a member of the Weston A. Price Foundation, and a Balanced Bites Nutrition Partner. In her spare time she writes the CaveGirlEats.com blog.
